Food Sovereignty Assembly

A pan-African dialogue on reclaiming our food systems through indigenous knowledge and policy reform. This two-day assembly convenes food sovereignty advocates, policymakers, and grassroots organisers from across the continent and diaspora.

Keynote addresses from leading voices in agroecology and food justice will set the stage for working groups focused on land rights, seed sovereignty, trade policy, and community food networks. Delegates will collaborate on a shared declaration of food sovereignty principles.

The assembly includes field visits to local growing projects, networking receptions, and a closing ceremony featuring traditional music and cuisine from across the African continent.
